Back in 1999, when the digital age was just beginning its ascendancy, SIA ELSIKO was founded in Latvia. It became known as one of the leading companies in the field of electrical installation works. For many years, it has been successfully fulfilling orders of any complexity, gaining the trust of customers with its professionalism and high quality of services.

However, in 2023, the company faced a challenge – the market was changing rapidly and digital technologies were becoming an integral part of business. At that moment, Dmitriy, one of the key employees of SIA ELSIKO, proposed an ambitious development plan. The idea was to create its own hosting sphere called QLOUD.

7 April 2023 was an important date – the domain qloud.lv was registered. It was the first step towards the realisation of the ambitious project. Already on 16 April of the same year, a suitable space for server location was rented, providing a fundamental basis for the future data centre.

On 20 April 2023, the first servers were purchased and were launched on 1 June 2023. The QLOUD team not only configured the servers, but also the control panels to provide customers with maximum flexibility and usability.

QLOUD’s website began development on 30 August 2023. The project received a lot of attention internally and the team worked with unflagging enthusiasm. On 8 January 2024, after many months of intensive work, the site was officially opened to customers.

The opening of QLOUD was not just an expansion of SIA ELSIKO’s activities, but also a new stage in their history.

Since then, QLOUD has continued its growth and development, attracting new clients and providing quality hosting services. This project has become a vivid example of how entrepreneurship and innovation can lead to a successful symbiosis of traditional business and new digital opportunities.
